The following core values reflect the “non-negotiable” elements and priorities
that ought to characterize the members of St. John Baptist Church.
THE WORD OF GOD
To study the Scripture and embrace it as our sole authority for every issue of life.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV)
16 All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.
COMMITMENT TO CHRIST AND HIS CHURCH
To honor our commitment to Christ through communion, fellowship, prayer and ministry to others.

And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.
PRAYER, PRAISE AND WORSHIP
To pray without ceasing, giving thanks in everything and rejoicing forevermore knowing this is the will of God.

LOVE (CARING & GIVING)
To demonstrate true love by seeking, serving and protecting the well-being of others.

INTEGRITY
To be honest and truthful in all we do and say; refusing our character to be compromised.

ABUNDANT LIFE
To recognize our sufficiency In Jesus Christ produces the meaningful purpose in life.

ACCOUNTABILITY
To love, encourage, and correct each other as we do the work of the ministry, each taking responsibility for decisions and actions that impact the ministry.

EXCELLENCE
To work as unto the Lord with the highest degree of professionalism, productivity, and skill knowing this bring glory to God.
